She lives with her husband, Mr. Piet Latuheru, who is 75 years old and works as a fisherman. After undergoing a medical examination, Mrs. Rahel was diagnosed with end-stage cancer. The doctor recommended that she be referred outside Ambon for further treatment, but because of financial difficulties, the family has not yet been able to make a decision.
