Berkat Ambon volunteers visited Grizele Quinn Wassar after receiving information about the child's condition. Quinn was born in Ambon on February 11, 2019, and is currently being treated in the hospital because, over the past month, his abdomen has become increasingly swollen. After being examined by a doctor, the initial diagnosis indicated the presence of fluid in the abdomen.

Despite the swelling, Quinn has been able to have regular bowel movements and urinate normally, with no other significant complaints. However, his abdomen continues to enlarge. X-rays and blood tests have already been performed, and the family is currently awaiting the results. The prayer of Quinn’s family and all of us is that the Lord Jesus will help Quinn recover and be restored to full health.

Quinn is accompanied by his father, Stevanus Wassar (39 years old), who works various odd jobs, and his mother, Melsiana Wolu (35 years old), a homemaker. At present, Quinn’s BPJS health insurance is not active. It expired at the end of the month after coverage from his father's previous employer ended, and he is no longer working there. The family is currently in the process of reactivating the insurance so that it can be used for Quinn’s medical care.

Anyone who would like to help Quinn may contact Berkat Ambon Messenger. The family greatly appreciates both prayer support and financial assistance to help cover Quinn’s treatment and medical expenses.

A Prayer for Hope: Lord, I maintain my hope in You and I hold onto the assurance that You are my Rock and my Refuge who bends His ear when the afflicted call out Your Name. As David prayed in Psalm 18:1: “I love you, Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.”
