Reinhard Lekatompessy

Based on information received from Nurse Y. Behuku, volunteers from Berkat Ambon visited Reinhard Lekatompessy, a 37-year-old man who is currently hospitalized. Reinhard has lived with a disability since birth and is unable to walk. He has required others to carry him throughout his life.

His father, Ishak Lekatompessy, is 76 years old and is no longer able to work in the garden. His mother, Susana Maulani, is 73 years old and a homemaker who devotes her time to caring for Reinhard. One of the family's greatest challenges arises when Reinhard becomes ill and needs to be taken for medical care. They must find someone to help carry him because his elderly parents are no longer physically able to do so themselves. Their daily needs are supported by their married children, who live outside Ambon and help as much as their circumstances allow. Despite these challenges, the family continues to care for Reinhard with love and dedication.

The family sincerely asks for everyone's prayers so that Reinhard will remain strong, encouraged, and able to continue living alongside his beloved parents. May God also grant his father and mother strength, joy, and renewed courage as they faithfully care for Reinhard.
