Risna Solon

Berkat Ambon received information from the family of Risna Siolon, a 4-year-old child who has a heart condition. Risna and her mother came from Seram to Ambon to receive medical treatment, but they do not have any family in Ambon with whom they can stay temporarily. The family’s financial situation is very limited. Volunteers from Berkat Ambon met them, brought them in, and helped find a place for them to stay while Risna undergoes treatment in Ambon. They are also helping cover the food expenses for Risna and her accompanying caregiver.

Risna Siolon, a 4-year-old child, has a heart condition. A few days ago, Risna came from Masohi with her mother. They do not have any family in Ambon with whom they can stay temporarily. The volunteers of Berkat Ambon met them, brought them in, and helped find a place for them to stay while Risna undergoes medical treatment in Ambon.

Praise God, Risna has already been examined by a cardiologist, who found that there is a leak in her heart. The doctor recommended that she receive further treatment outside of Ambon.

Because the family’s financial situation is very limited, Risna and her mother have returned to Masohi for now. They will need to return to Ambon on August 14. Let us pray that God will open a way and provide what is needed so that Risna can receive the further medical treatment she needs for her recovery.
