Yunita Latupeirissa from the village of Alang is a patient suffering from malnutrition. Collected donations from Ambon helped in buying milk for Yuni every month. May the Lord Jesus bless this milk so that Yuni drinks it and her weight increases, improving her condition. Yuni is almost 2 years old but is still not independent. She lives alongside her mother, Friska, who has been widowed for about 2 years and continues to care for Yuni. May God provide for all of Yuni and her mother's needs.
Update 9/26/24:

Yunita Latupeirissa had a mouth full of sores and fungal infections. Thanks to the donations from all the brothers and sisters, and through the love of the Lord Jesus and various efforts made by Berkat Ambon, we were able to take Yuni to the doctor and provide her with medication as well as transportation for Yuni and her mother to Allang.
Praise the Lord, Yuni's weight has increased from 8.1 kg to 9.3 kg now! May the Lord Jesus bless everyone who has contributed to Yuni; your support has been a blessing to her. May the Lord Jesus bless you all with continued health and empower you to keep being a blessing to others.

Update 10/24/24: With God’s love and mercy, Yuni and her mother were able to visit the pediatrician for her mouth injury. After the last treatment, it had healed, but unfortunately, it has returned. The costs for the doctor, medications, and transportation were all provided by God’s grace. A big thank you to everyone who has continued to donate through Berkat Ambon. May Jesus bless you all and allow you to keep being a blessing to others.

Update 11/7/24: Yuni has severe sores in her mouth, weighs only 8.9 kg, and needs to reach a healthy weight of 12 kg, according to the doctor. Due to the mouth sores and a body temperature of 36.5°C, Yuni feels weak and cannot eat. Her BPJS (health insurance) needs to be arranged, but payments are required from her birth, with an estimated cost of 700,000 IDR. Our prayers are with her, asking the Lord Jesus to heal and restore Yuni and to strengthen her mother to continue caring for and serving Yuni faithfully. For those who wish to help Yuni, please reach out to Berkat Ambon.
Update 11/8/24: Unfortunately, Yuni fell ill again with severe mouth sores, and after visiting three different doctors, she was seen by another doctor yesterday. Today, Yuni developed diarrhea and was taken to the ER for treatment after her BPJS was paid, amounting to 877,500 IDR. It was found that Yuni has spots on her lungs. Her BPJS also incurred a fine of over one million IDR. For those who wish to share compassion with Yuni and her mother, please reach out via Berkat Ambon Messenger.Â

Thank you so much to all our brothers and sisters who have been praying for our dear Yuni and for the donations given. May Jesus bless and love us all.
Update 11/19/24:

The area inside Yuni's mouth has healed, but the wound on the outside has grown larger. Yuni needs gauze, infusion fluids for treatment, and nutrition to improve her nutritional status, as her weight is not proportionate to her age. For those who wish to help Yuni, you can contact the Berkat Ambon messenger.
Update 12/8/24: Today, Yuni needs to return to the pediatrician for a check-up on her mouth, which has not been improving. May the Lord Jesus help her find the right medication to heal the sores around her mouth that have persisted for nearly two months. In addition, Yuni needs to drink milk and eat nutritious food. Yuni lost her father around two years ago, and her mother must care for her and cannot work to earn a living.
For those who wish to help Yuni, you can contact Berkat Ambon via Messenger. Our prayers are that the hands of the Lord Jesus touch her and that His stripes heal Yuni.

Update 12/10/24:

Today, Yuni returned for a check-up and to continue her medication program. Praise God, the wounds around Yuni's mouth are starting to dry up. Berkat Ambon has been assisting with transportation and other necessities. Thank you so much to all the brothers and sisters who continually donate through Berkat Ambon. The Lord Jesus loves and blesses us all.
Update 12/15/24:

The Berkat Ambon volunteers visited Yuni, who returned for a follow-up regarding the treatment of her mouth injury. Praise the Lord, Yuni's weight has increased from 8.8 kg to 9.4 kg. Thank you so much to everyone who has donated for Yuni, which has helped her mother buy milk and vegetables for her. Berkat Ambon has also assisted in purchasing Yuni's medication that was unavailable at the hospital pharmacy. May the Lord Jesus bless and provide all the nutrients that Yuni needs. May God also grant her mother good health, wisdom, and strength to care for, nurture, and raise Yuni in the truth of God’s Word.
Update 12/29/24:

Yunita Latupeirissa has been hospitalized again due to difficulty breathing. Yuni has been referred for further examination by the doctor on January 5, 2025. Yuni's mouth condition has shown little progress over the past three months. From pediatricians to general practitioners, no suitable medication or ointment has been found for Yuni yet.
Yuni's mother currently needs daily food expenses while accompanying Yuni, as well as milk for Yuni. May the compassion and mercy of Lord Jesus be poured out for Yuni and her mother.
Update 1/4/24:

Berkat Ambon brought donations for Yuni and her mother. Yuni is unable to eat, and the doctor has recommended inserting an NGT (nasogastric tube). Currently, she can only consume milk, but the milk previously given was not suitable, causing Yuni to vomit. The doctor has advised her to drink Pediasure. With donations from everyone, Berkat Ambon brought Pediasure milk, diapers, and meal money for Yuni’s mother.
It is only by the mercy and grace of the Lord Jesus that Yuni can be healed. We reject all evil powers in the name of the Lord Jesus. May Yuni regain her health and fully recover. May the Lord Jesus also grant Yuni’s mother good health and strength to always be there to support her.
Update 1/6/25:

We visited Yuni and prayed together with her mother. Praise the Lord, Yuni has received proper medical care and efforts are ongoing to help her gain weight and heal the sores in her mouth. Due to itching, Yuni often scratches herself. The doctor has recommended that Yuni drink Pediasure milk. To all the kindhearted people who continue to pray and donate to support Yuni, may the Lord Jesus repay your generosity and kindness many times over. Please continue to uphold Yuni in your prayers.
Update 1/7/25:

Yuni's mother needs to visit the lab at Ikes Karpan to check Yuni's blood. Currently, Yuni has been moved to the PICU and is being cared for very well by the medical team. As a result, the sores in Yuni's mouth are drying up and healing.
Thank you so much to everyone who has donated to support Berkat Ambon's ministry, enabling us to help those in need. May the Lord Jesus love and bless you all.
Update 1/9/24:

We revisited Yuni. Yesterday, she had a high fever and experienced seizures, but praise God, her condition has slightly improved. The dryness around her mouth has also started to improve, but the doctor has recommended continuing to feed her through the NGT (nasogastric tube) as they cannot yet confirm if there are no wounds in her mouth. Yuni is receiving excellent medical care to improve her nutrition.
Although she remains somewhat weak due to previously not liking to eat, since the NGT was placed, there has been noticeable progress in her condition. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has been praying for our beloved Yuni. The prayers of many people are noticed by Jesus, and we hope Yuni can fully recover. The donations from everyone have also greatly helped Yuni’s mother as she accompanies her. May Jesus love and bless us all.
2/1/25: Yuni has been admitted to the hospital again due to severe shortness of breath, causing her great suffering. Currently, Yuni is unable to use her BPJS health insurance, and she will only be able to use it again on the 11th. She was supposed to be placed in the ICU, but since she is a general patient, Yuni's mother, who does not have a job, found it difficult and requested a regular inpatient room for easier access.

However, Yuni's mother is still unable to afford the hospital stay costs, as she needs to constantly be by Yuni's side during her hospitalization. The expenses for food and Yuni’s other needs while in the hospital have also become a major concern for her mother.
For those who would like to support Yuni and her mother by helping with hospital expenses or Yuni’s daily needs during her stay, you can contact us. We pray that God's hand will touch and restore Yuni’s condition, granting her good health, and giving strength to her mother so she can continue to care for Yuni.
2/2/25: Â Her weight has continued to decrease because she vomits after eating. However, praise God, the NGT (nasogastric tube) has been removed, and Yuni is now eating well, though she still has a lot of mucus. May the Lord Jesus bless the medical team at the hospital, filling them with wisdom and ability to treat Yuni in the right way. Amen.
