Virel Wattimena

By His grace, the volunteers from Berkat Ambon had the opportunity to visit Virel Wattimena again. We have been concerned for Virel since childhood, as she was diagnosed with hydrocephalus from a young age. After undergoing two brain surgeries, her condition has now improved. We continue to monitor Virel's condition and the Berkat Ambon volunteers brought donations of daily necessities for her. Let us keep Virel in our prayers, that she may continue to grow healthy according to God's plan.

Update 9/17/24: Praise the Lord Jesus, by His mercy, the Berkat Ambon volunteers had the opportunity once again to visit Virel Wattimena, bringing daily necessities for her. Since childhood, Virel has suffered from hydrocephalus and has undergone two brain surgeries. Berkat Ambon continues to monitor Virel's condition. Update 11/2/24: Berkat Ambon volunteers visited Virel Wattimena, bringing monthly donations and checking on her condition. Virel has had hydrocephalus since she was young and was once treated in Jakarta. She is now healthy and being cared for by her family along with her older sibling, as her mother has passed away. We hope that everyone can help and pray for Virel to grow strong in the Lord Jesus.

Update 1/17/25: Praise the Lord! In January 2025, Berkat Ambon volunteers revisited Virel Wattimena. Since late 2017, Berkat Ambon has consistently monitored Virel’s condition and provided donations of daily necessities such as rice, milk, eggs, and more. Currently, Virel's condition is steadily improving. Let us continue to pray that through the love of the Lord Jesus, Virel may grow up healthy and strong, fully enjoying her childhood.

Update 2/5/25:

The Berkat Ambon volunteers once again visited Virel Wattimen, a 7-year-old girl who was diagnosed with hydrocephalus at the age of 1 and has required continued treatment at a hospital in Jakarta. Since the end of 2017, Berkat Ambon has been monitoring her condition while also bringing donations of daily necessities such as rice, milk, eggs, and more.

Currently, Virel is in good condition. Let us pray that, through the love of Jesus Christ, she may grow up healthy and fully enjoy her childhood.

Praise the Lord! In April 2025, Berkat Ambon volunteers once again visited Virel Wattimena, who is almost 8 years old. Since the age of one, Virel has been diagnosed with hydrocephalus. A few years ago, Berkat Ambon helped facilitate her continued medical treatment at a hospital in Jakarta.

To this day, Berkat Ambon continues to monitor Virel’s condition and regularly brings donations for her daily needs, such as rice, milk, eggs, and more. Virel is currently in good health and appears cheerful and full of life. Let us continue to pray that through the love of Jesus Christ, Virel will grow up healthy and whole, enjoying her childhood to the fullest.

This June 2025, as usual, Berkat Ambon volunteers visited Virel Wattimen, who is almost 8 years old. Since the age of 1, Virel has been diagnosed with hydrocephalus. Several years ago, Berkat Ambon facilitated her further treatment at a hospital in Jakarta. Until now, Berkat Ambon continues to monitor Virel’s condition and brings donations of daily necessities such as rice, milk, eggs, and other items to support her growth. Currently, Virel is in good health and looks cheerful. Let us pray that with the love of Lord Jesus, Virel will continue to grow healthy and perfectly, enjoying her childhood.

In July 2025, Berkat Ambon volunteers once again visited and brought donations including rice, milk, eggs, and other necessities for Virel Wattimen, an 8-year-old child diagnosed with hydrocephalus since the age of 1. A few years ago, Berkat Ambon facilitated further treatment for Virel at a hospital in Jakarta. Since then, Berkat Ambon has continued to monitor Virel’s condition. Currently, Virel is healthy and appears cheerful. Let us pray that by the love of the Lord Jesus, Virel will grow strong and well, and fully enjoy her childhood.
