Valendro Grimaldry Nanuru

Berkat Ambon volunteers visited again and helped cover the cost of purchasing medicine according to the doctor’s prescription for Valendro Grimaldry Nanuru, aged 2 years old. Valen was born in normal condition, but at the age of 1 month he fell ill and the doctor diagnosed a cyst in his bile duct. A few months ago he was referred to Jakarta, but according to his mother, when it was time for his MRI, the machine was not functioning, and they were told to come back in August. Currently, Valen is still weak and needs to regularly visit the doctor at the hospital clinic. Let us pray that God will open the way for Valen to be treated in Ambon itself and that he will recover soon. Amid the family’s limited financial situation, Valen needs milk, diapers, and transportation for his doctor check-ups.

Update 7/29/25:

Berkat Ambon was contacted by the family of Valendro Grimaldry Nanuru, a 2-year-and-3-month-old child who is currently in critical condition and urgently in need of a blood donor with AB+ blood type. Valen has been diagnosed by doctors with a cyst in his gallbladder. A few months ago, he was referred to Jakarta. According to his mother, when it was time for the MRI, the machine was not functioning, and they were advised to return to Ambon and come back to Jakarta in August for further evaluation.
