Stievangref Kuhuparuw

We received information, and Berkat Ambon Volunteers went to personally visit and see the condition of our brother, Sievangref Kuhuparuw, 31 years old, who has been suffering for the past year from shortness of breath and lung problems. Due to the family’s very limited financial situation, Sievangref has not yet been able to receive adequate medical treatment. The family deeply longs to take him to a doctor or hospital, but they are hindered by outstanding BPJS Health insurance premiums of approximately 1,350,000 rupiah.

Update 2/14/26:

Seeing that our brother Stievangref urgently needed medical treatment, today Berkat Ambon paid off his BPJS Health insurance arrears so that he could immediately be taken to the hospital for care. However, several major hospitals that were visited were unable to admit him due to full rooms. Finally, he was accepted at a hospital in Passo.

Update 2/22/26:

Praise the Lord. Our brother, Stievangref Kuhuparuw, has been allowed by the doctor to return home from the hospital. Although he is still weak, his condition is better than before. Berkat Ambon volunteers visited Stieven at his home and brought donations to help purchase his necessities so that his body can regain strength and his weight can increase. We also pray that God will heal and fully restore Stieven so he can resume his activities, and grant strength to his mother who, despite her limited strength due to age, continues to faithfully care for him during this difficult time. In early April 2026, Berkat Ambon volunteers visited Mr. Stievangref Kuhuparuw, 31 years old, who was recently hospitalized due to lung illness and shortness of breath.

The volunteers visited Stieven at his home and brought donations to help meet his needs so that his body can regain strength. His condition is currently improving, but he needs to take medication regularly for the next few months.

Berkat Ambon volunteers once again visited Mr. Stievangref Kuhuparuw, age 31. We are grateful to see that his health condition is continuing to improve.

A few months ago, Berkat Ambon helped settle his outstanding BPJS Health Insurance premiums and penalties, enabling Mr. Stiev to receive hospital treatment for lung disease and shortness of breath. On this occasion, Berkat Ambon volunteers visited him at his home and brought a donation to help purchase necessities and support his recovery so that he can regain his strength. Mr. Stiev must continue taking medication regularly for the next several months as part of his treatment.
