Volunteers from Berkat Ambon received information and visited Mrs. Rosdiana Wattimena, 51 years old, to see her condition firsthand. Mrs. Rosdiana is currently suffering from nerve constriction, kidney stones, and a urinary tract infection. Due to very limited financial means, she has not been able to receive medical treatment and remains bedridden at home. Her national health insurance (BPJS) is inactive because of an outstanding balance of approximately Rp. 1.7 million. In addition, her 15-year-old child suddenly experienced numbness in the legs last July and is now unable to walk, confined to bed. The child needs a wheelchair to continue studying and prepare for the junior high school exams next year. Let us pray that God will open the way and provide all that is needed for both mother and child to receive proper medical care and recovery.

Update 11/3/25:

The long-awaited hope of young Ivantri Wattimena to have a wheelchair has finally come true. God has used the family of Mr. R.N. to donate a wheelchair, which has now been delivered to Ivantri. Berkat Ambon would like to express heartfelt gratitude to Mr. R.N. and his family for their generous donation of a wheelchair in excellent condition. May God bless you and your family abundantly in all things.

Update 12/12/25:

Berkat Ambon also extends its deepest condolences on the passing of Mrs. Rosdiana Wattimena at the age of 52, after having suffered for some time from paralysis caused by nerve compression, kidney stones, and a urinary tract infection.

May the family she left behind receive strength and comfort from the Lord Jesus Christ. Berkat Ambon expresses sincere thanks to all brothers and sisters who have given their donations, which have been handed over to Mrs. Rosdiana. May God bless us all.

A Prayer for Hope: Lord, I maintain my hope in You and I hold onto the assurance that You are my Rock and my Refuge who bends His ear when the afflicted call out Your Name. As David prayed in Psalm 18:1: “I love you, Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.”
