Remon Taberima

Updated: Nov 22

Berkat Ambon volunteers visited Mr. Remon Taberima, who lives in Benteng Atas. His wife passed away about two years ago. For nearly two weeks, Mr. Remon has been experiencing pain at the back of his head when touched (the cause is still unknown) and has been unable to have a bowel movement up until now. He wishes to see a doctor, but financial constraints and the lack of BPJS insurance are major obstacles.

For those who would like to extend compassion to Mr. Remon, please contact Berkat Ambon through Messenger.

Update 11/8/24:

Mr. Remon Taberima, who is unwell and unable to manage his daily activities independently, is being cared for by his daughter for all his needs. As of now, Mr. Remon has not been taken to the doctor due to financial limitations and the lack of BPJS insurance, and he also does not have an ID card. We are deeply grateful to all who continue to donate through Berkat Ambon, enabling us to help those in need.

11/11/24:

A visit was made to Mr. Remon’s home to deliver donations. Due to the limited water supply at his residence, Mr. Remon’s daughter is taking his clothes and belongings to be washed elsewhere. Mr. Remon requested assistance from Berkat Ambon to purchase his essential needs, which were bought according to what he required, with some funds remaining for future necessities. Since Mr. Remon quickly goes through supplies like diapers and wet tissues, we will use the donation money to restock these items as needed. May Jesus bless Mr. Remon, and may the Holy Spirit continue to speak to him, sharing God’s message while he rests. We also pray for good health, strength, and resilience for Mr. Remon’s children and grandchildren as they care for him.

Update 11/16/24: RIP Mr. Remon Taberima. Last night, Mr. Remon’s condition deteriorated, and he was taken to RST for treatment. His family and friends tried their best to help him, and Mr. Remon has now found eternal healing.

Currently, the hospital bill for Mr. Remon exceeds IDR 1,000,000 , and the family is planning for the funeral tomorrow but has yet to make any preparations due to financial constraints.

Those who wish to help with the hospital and funeral expenses for Mr. Remon can contact the Berkat Ambon messenger. Thank you in advance for the prayers and donations from everyone. May God bless you.
