Update 8/26/24:

The Berkat Ambon volunteers visited Mr. Lambert Serang, who is being treated at the hospital for a severe cough and difficulty breathing, which has made him very weak. He is currently unable to walk due to a nerve issue in his spine.

We brought donations to help alleviate the costs of his care. Please support us in prayer and assist us in the recovery of Mr. Lambert and others in need of help. Brothers and sisters can contact us via Messenger.

Update 1/7/25:

ree

Berkat Ambon volunteers visited and prayed for Mr. Lambert Selang, who recently had to undergo hospital treatment due to nerve compression in his lower back, which has left him bedridden. As the family's primary breadwinner, Mr. Lambert can no longer work to provide for his family's needs. Mr. Lambert needs to regularly visit the doctor for check-ups. The doctor has recommended using a wheelchair so he does not have to remain in bed all the time. However, the family's financial situation makes it impossible to afford a wheelchair.

Let us pray for the power of the Lord to restore Mr. Lambert's health.

For those who wish to support our ministry, you can contact Berkat Ambon via Messenger. May the Lord bless you all!

The volunteers brought donations, including diapers, milk, and other necessities, along with prayers to the Lord Jesus, hoping that Mr. Bambe will recover soon and be able to resume his activities to support his family.

Let us join in prayer for Mr. Bambe’s healing and strength.

Update 1/14/25:

Praise the Lord! Volunteers from Berkat Ambon delivered a wheelchair to Mr. Lambert Serang, who is currently receiving treatment in the hospital. Mr. Lambert expressed his wish to the Berkat Ambon volunteers to have a wheelchair so he could get out of bed and move around. The doctor also recommended this. Coincidentally, Berkat Ambon had a wheelchair donated by a family, so we gave it to Mr. Lambert, who needed it.

Brothers and sisters, please continue to support and assist our ministry so that more people can be helped. You can contact us through the Berkat Ambon messenger.

Berkat Ambon extends our deepest condolences for the passing of Mr. Lambert Serang (Bapak Bambe) at the age of 61, after battling illness for several years. The family has done everything possible for his recovery, and Berkat Ambon has always taken part in helping with Mr. Bambe’s needs. However, we must all submit to God’s will, the Creator and Owner of life.

Rest in peace, Mr. Bambe. May the family he left behind continue to be cared for and comforted by God.

A Prayer for Hope: Lord, I maintain my hope in You and I hold onto the assurance that You are my Rock and my Refuge who bends His ear when the afflicted call out Your Name. As David prayed in Psalm 18:1: “I love you, Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.”
