After receiving the information, Berkat Ambon volunteers made efforts to meet Mr. Kaleb Risaputty, who came from Piru and is currently staying in a rented room. They directly observed his health condition and found that he is suffering from kidney failure, which requires intensive medical treatment. However, due to the family’s very limited financial situation, he has not yet been able to receive adequate medical care. We pray that God will open a way to provide for all his daily needs and medical expenses so that Mr. Kaleb Risaputty’s health can be restored.

Update 4/7/26:

After meeting and seeing the condition of Mr. Kaleb Risaputty a few days ago—who came from Piru and is currently staying in a rented room—Berkat Ambon volunteers have returned with donations to help meet his needs. Mr. Kaleb has recently been undergoing routine dialysis due to kidney failure. He still requires significant funds for medications to support his kidney function and to increase his hemoglobin (HB) levels. In his current condition, he is unable to work and earn a living, making his financial situation very limited. We pray that God will open a way to provide for his daily needs and medical care so that Mr. Kaleb Risaputty’s health can be restored.

Update 9/6/26:

Berkat Ambon extends its deepest condolences on the passing of Mr. Kaleb Risaputty.

Mr. Kaleb came from Piru some time ago to receive outpatient treatment and was hospitalized several times. He passed away at the hospital after suffering from kidney failure, which he had been living with for the past several years. Our prayers are that God will give strength and comfort to his family and loved ones who have been left behind.

A Prayer for Hope: Lord, I maintain my hope in You and I hold onto the assurance that You are my Rock and my Refuge who bends His ear when the afflicted call out Your Name. As David prayed in Psalm 18:1: “I love you, Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.”
