Updated: Sep 9

From the information received by Berkat Ambon, volunteers visited Mrs. Joice Margaretha Supusepa/Sapulette, a widow born in Ambon on January 22, 1967. Mrs. Joice is a thyroid patient and has undergone surgery to remove the lump. After a biopsy, the results showed cancer, and she needs laser treatment. The doctor advised that this should be done as soon as possible outside of Ambon. However, due to financial limitations, there has been no follow-up treatment yet.

Mrs. Joice is currently staying in Saparua but is temporarily living at a relative’s house in Gunung Nona for her treatment. Berkat Ambon will assist in contacting a patient shelter home in Jakarta, and if God wills, Mrs. Joice can receive funds for her ticket along with one companion.

Her husband, Mr. Rudy Sapulette (58 years old), works daily as a farmer, and Mrs. Joice used to sell bread taken from her family’s bakery, but due to her illness, she can no longer work selling bread. For any brothers and sisters who would like to share love and help Mrs. Joice, you can contact Berkat Ambon via Messenger.

At present, Mrs. Joice Margaretha Supusepa (58 years old) has undergone another surgery for her tumor after previously having surgery as well. The doctor has given permission for her to return to Ambon. Mrs. Joice and her companion are planning to return to Ambon and are in need of transportation costs. Berkat Ambon has already provided for Mrs. Joice’s ticket, but additional funds are still needed for her companion’s ticket.

May Lord Jesus, the source of all blessings, provide for every need of Mrs. Joice and her companion so they may soon reunite with their family in Ambon. For brothers and sisters who wish to share love with Mrs. Joice, you may contact Berkat Ambon Messenger. May the Lord Jesus bless us all.

A Prayer for Hope: Lord, I maintain my hope in You and I hold onto the assurance that You are my Rock and my Refuge who bends His ear when the afflicted call out Your Name. As David prayed in Psalm 18:1: “I love you, Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.”
