Hellen Watumlawar

Updated: Sep 28

Please join us in prayer for Hellen Watumlawar, who is battling cervical cancer. Only the love and mercy of the Lord Jesus can help Hellen. We firmly believe that Jesus is capable of healing Hellen from all cancerous cells. May the precious blood of Jesus flow through Hellen's body and bring complete healing to her. The Ambon community is supporting Hellen monthly to help meet her and her husband’s needs during her treatment. We trust that the Lord Jesus will surely help Hellen.

Update 9/22/24:

Brothers and sisters, please join us in prayer as Hellen's condition is worsening, and she is not permitted to fly. The family is trying to bring Hellen back to Ambon, but the airline does not allow it. We are all praying for Ellen, as God knows what is best for her. Nothing is impossible for God.

Update 9/23/24: Rest in Peace, Hellen. We all prayed for Ellen to return to Ambon in good health, but God knew what was best for her. Ellen has left behind her husband and two very young children. The entire family loved Ellen dearly and did everything possible for her, but Jesus knew what was most important and best for Ellen. May the Lord Jesus give strength and comfort to her husband, children, and the extended Watumlawar and Latumeten families.

The cost of bringing Ellen's body home is approximately IDR 24,000,000. For those who would like to assist with these expenses, you can reach out to Berkat Ambon via Messenger. Let's stand together and support each other during this time.
