From the information received by Berkat Ambon, the BA volunteers visited Gloria Alicia Leatemia, born in Ambon on February 18, 2017. Gloria has been diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. She is currently with her father, Marsel Leatemia, who works as a PPPK employee, along with their family. After being told about the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus—who died for Gloria, bearing all sickness, disease, and even humanity’s sins—Gloria became very enthusiastic. Together, we prayed, asking for God’s mercy and healing for her. There is nothing impossible for the Lord Jesus; His blood is enough for Gloria, and by His stripes, she has been healed and restored.

The doctor has recommended that Gloria be referred for treatment outside of Ambon due to limited medical equipment. However, because of financial constraints, she has not yet been able to travel. For those who wish to share love and support to help Gloria, you may contact Messenger Berkat Ambon. We are in great need of both prayers and financial assistance to help Gloria. Gloria will leave Ambon only when she is fully healed—through the prayers of many, may the hope of this beloved child be fulfilled. The Lord Jesus loves and blesses us all.

RIP Glori Leatemia, a patient diagnosed with leukemia. Glori was taken back to the ER because of her weakened condition. She experienced shortness of breath and said she was tired and couldn’t hold on any longer. We prayed together over the phone, and a few minutes later, Berkat Ambon was informed that Glori has passed away. Glori is no longer in pain or suffering. May the Lord Jesus give strength to her father, sister, and the entire Leatemia family.

Farewell, Glory. The Lord Jesus has given the best for you. The first time we met Glory was when she was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia and needed to be referred for further treatment, but due to financial limitations, she had to wait. Berkat Ambon had contacted a shelter in Makassar, but God had other plans. When we met at the hospital, after sharing stories and praying, Glory was asked what she wanted. She said, “I just want to say thank you, Grandma, for telling me about the Lord Jesus.”

The Lord Jesus loves Glory so much and allowed her to return home, giving her father, grandmother, and family the chance to care for her for 1 month and 11 days, and to hear about the love of Jesus Christ who has saved her.

A Prayer for Hope: Lord, I maintain my hope in You and I hold onto the assurance that You are my Rock and my Refuge who bends His ear when the afflicted call out Your Name. As David prayed in Psalm 18:1: “I love you, Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.”
