Emma Lewerissa

Berkat Ambon volunteers have visited Mrs. Emma Lewerissa, who has been suffering from a brain tumor for several years, which has caused her to lose her sight. Praise the Lord for her condition is now improving. We ask everyone to continue praying for Mrs. Emma, that she may remain strong and healthy. Update 5/12/25:

The big family of Berkat Ambon Volunteers bids farewell to our beloved Ibu Ema Lewerissa, who has gone ahead to return to the Father's home in Heaven.

Ibu Ema had long suffered from a condition affecting her head, causing severe headaches and loss of vision. Due to financial limitations, she was unable to receive proper medical treatment. Since mid-2018, Berkat Ambon Volunteers have faithfully visited her every month, prayed with her, and provided daily necessities.

Together with her family, we share in this sorrow. May the Lord Jesus give strength and comfort to the grieving family.

A Prayer for Hope: Lord, I maintain my hope in You and I hold onto the assurance that You are my Rock and my Refuge who bends His ear when the afflicted call out Your Name. As David prayed in Psalm 18:1: “I love you, Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.”
