Berthy Tomasoa

Based on information received, Berkat Ambon volunteers visited Mr. Berthy Tomasoa, born in Titawaai on October 23, 1986. Mr. Berthy has been diagnosed with hypertension, high cholesterol, low albumin levels, swelling (edema), muscle cramps in his arms and legs, and liver and kidney disorders.

He is currently being cared for by his mother, Mrs. Josefina Sopacua, 65 years old, who has been faithfully accompanying him during his hospitalization. The doctors have advised that after being discharged from the hospital, Mr. Berthy should undergo a comprehensive blood examination at Prodia Laboratory, which is expected to cost approximately Rp. 3 million. The test results will then be taken to his doctor for further evaluation in order to gain a clearer understanding of his medical condition and determine the most appropriate treatment.

Our prayer is that the Lord Jesus, the source of all blessings, will provide for every need of Mr. Berthy and his family. We believe that nothing is impossible for the Lord Jesus. Update 6/5/26:

Praise the Lord Jesus, today the volunteers from Berkat Ambon were able to deliver donations to Mr. Steven and Mr. Berthy. Mr. Berthy is still feeling weak, and the doctor has recommended that he undergo blood tests at Prodia Laboratory to determine exactly what condition he is experiencing. The cost of the examination is approximately 3 million rupiah, and the family is currently still short by about 2 million rupiah.

Update 6/9/26:

Mr. Berthy has now been discharged from the hospital and returned home. However, he still needs to undergo blood tests at Prodia Laboratory as soon as possible. Due to financial limitations, he has not yet been able to have the tests done.

The donations collected previously, totaling 900,000 rupiah, have already been handed over to him. Thank you to all who have contributed to helping Mr. Berthy. May the Lord Jesus continue to help him in His wonderful and miraculous way. Accompanied by his beloved mother, who continually provides encouragement and strength, Mr. Berthy remains patient and steadfast as he goes through the challenges and processes that God has allowed in his life.
