The Berkat Ambon volunteers received information and immediately visited Aldrin Risakota, a 25-year-old from Mahia, who is currently being treated in the hospital due to shortness of breath caused by fluid buildup in his lungs. Fluid drainage has been performed five times, but there is still a significant amount of fluid in his lungs.
Doctors have recommended that he be referred outside of Ambon for surgery because there is a tumor attached to his lungs. However, the family is facing financial difficulties, especially since there are medical costs not covered by BPJS (Health Insurance). Let us pray that God opens the way for our brother to receive the best possible treatment for his recovery. Brothers and sisters who wish to support Aldrin or our volunteer efforts can do so by contacting Messenger Berkat Ambon.
Update 2/15/25: The Berkat Ambon team expresses our deepest condolences on the passing of Brother Aldrin Risakota, who was recently hospitalized due to fluid in his lungs.
Brother Aldrin is no longer in pain, as his earthly, fragile body has been replaced by a new body, free from suffering, in the presence of the Lord. Berkat Ambon volunteers visited the grieving family and provided a condolence donation. May God grant strength and comfort to the family he left behind.
