Welmina Rahawarin

We received information from the family and went straight to the home of Mrs. WELMINA RAHAWARIN, 65, from Ad Village on Kei Besar Island, who is currently staying in Tual City. About two months ago, Mrs. Welmina began suffering from fluid building up in her abdomen. In early October, she underwent abdominal surgery in Elat (Kei Besar), where about 5 liters of fluid were drained. However, a month later the fluid built up again, and she was referred to the hospital in Tual. The doctors there inserted a catheter to drain the fluid from her abdomen and advised her to continue treatment in Ambon because there is a tumor that needs to be removed. Her husband is a traditional farmer, so the family’s finances are very limited. The family is struggling with transportation to Ambon and with finding a place to stay near Leimena Hospital.
Let us pray that the Lord will open the way for Mrs. Welmina and her companion to get to Ambon soon, receive proper medical care, and be healed. To our brothers and sisters from the Kei community in Ambon who have a place near Leimena Hospital: please help by offering Mrs. Welmina and her companion a place to stay while she receives treatment in Ambon.
