

Yosias and Yuni Latumeten
Update 3/1/26: In February 2026, the Berkat Ambon Volunteers once again visited the family of Mr. Yosias and Mrs. Yuni Latumeten to see their condition firsthand while bringing donations such as rice, eggs, and other daily necessities to help support them. Several years ago, Mr. Yosias injured his leg after being pierced by iron, which led to an infection and eventually required amputation. Currently, he is only able to use a wheelchair. Panti Asuhan Tunanetra Pelita Kasih
As has been done regularly since 2017, Berkat Ambon once again delivered a donation of one drum of kerosene to Pelita Kasih Blind Orphanage (Panti Asuhan Tunanetra Pelita Kasih). The use of the kerosene is managed by the administrators, with most of it being sold to help cover operational costs and the daily needs of the children in their care. A smaller portion is used for cooking at the orphanage. We pray that through the guidance and nurturing they receive at the orphanage


Sievangref Kuhuparuw
We received information, and Berkat Ambon Volunteers went to personally visit and see the condition of our brother, Sievangref Kuhuparuw, 31 years old, who has been suffering for the past year from shortness of breath and lung problems. Due to the family’s very limited financial situation, Sievangref has not yet been able to receive adequate medical treatment. The family deeply longs to take him to a doctor or hospital, but they are hindered by outstanding BPJS Health insuran


Devi Moses de Fretes
Volunteers from Berkat Ambon were able to visit Mr. Devi Moses de Fretes, age 34, who is currently being treated in the hospital due to a prolonged illness. According to the doctor’s diagnosis, Mr. Devi suffers from an autoimmune condition and gastric acid problems. At present, he has low hemoglobin levels and requires a blood transfusion of blood type B+. At PMI, this B+ blood type is somewhat difficult to obtain.
