Stevi Talaksoru

According to the information we received, volunteers from Berkat Ambon visited and directly observed the condition of Stevi Talaksoru, a 6-year-old who is being treated in the hospital after being stung by bees on his back, face, and other parts of his body while retrieving a ball that fell into the bushes on March 2.

Stevi was unconscious for 3 days, experienced liver swelling, shortness of breath, and was unable to have a bowel movement. He required two bags of blood transfusion. Currently, his condition has improved and he is ready to go home, but he is still being held at the hospital because the medical bill of Rp 5.8 million has not been fully paid, with about Rp 2.8 million still remaining. Due to the family’s limited financial situation, Stevi does not yet have BPJS health insurance. Our prayer is that God will make a way to provide for all the hospital expenses so that Stevi can return home.

For anyone who would like to help Stevi be discharged from the hospital, please contact us through Berkat Ambon Messenger. May God help us all.

Update 3/17/26:

The donations have been collected, and the remaining amount was covered by Berkat Ambon to settle the hospital bill so that Stevi could return home. Thank you very much to all who have donated, so that now Stevi can play with friends at home again. May the Lord Jesus love and bless everyone who has donated.

A Prayer for Hope: Lord, I maintain my hope in You and I hold onto the assurance that You are my Rock and my Refuge who bends His ear when the afflicted call out Your Name. As David prayed in Psalm 18:1: “I love you, Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.”
