Volunteers visited Mr. Sadrin Haurissa, born in North Maluku on August 14, 1988. Mr. Sadrin lives with his wife, Bace Malakauseya (34 years old), and their 3-year-old child. Mr. Sadrin works as a pickup truck driver transporting fish. About five months ago, he suddenly fell ill—his leg turned black and hardened. After seeing a doctor, he was advised that amputation was necessary because the flesh had already become rotten. As a result, Mr. Sadrin had his leg amputated two months ago.
Currently, he is unable to work to support his family’s economy. His wife works daily selling crackers to help support the family. At this time, Mr. Sadrin is still experiencing pain in his leg. Praise God, a kind friend made him a wooden walking stick. Although it is quite heavy to use, it has helped Mr. Sadrin to be able to walk. Brothers and sisters who wish to share and help Mr. Sadrin and his family may contact Berkat Ambon via Messenger. May the Lord Jesus help and open a way for Mr. Sadrin and his family.
Update 1/8/26:

Today, Berkat Ambon volunteers received a pair of crutches from the family of the late Mr. Kemal (a Berkat Ambon patient), which were donated to Mr. Sadrin Haurissa. May the Lord Jesus bless these crutches so they may become a blessing for Mr. Sadrin. May the stitches on his leg heal quickly. Thank you to all our brothers and sisters who have donated to support the Berkat Ambon ministry. The Lord Jesus loves and blesses us all.
