Berkat Ambon accompanied Putry to the health clinic to get a referral to an orthopedic specialist and assisted with registering her for an examination at the hospital. At 4 p.m., the orthopedic consultation will continue. May Jesus provide the best timing for Putry’s surgery.
At 4 p.m., they went to see the doctor, but due to the high number of patients, only six could be seen, so they will return tomorrow for the examination. May Jesus ensure Putry receives the best possible care.

Last year, Due to their weak economic condition, the leg was treated traditionally, but the bones could not heal straight. A few months ago, Berkat Ambon facilitated surgery to repair her broken and bent leg bones. Until now, Berkat Ambon continues to monitor her condition. Brothers and sisters, you can share your love to help Putry and our ministry by contacting Berkat Ambon via Messenger. May the Lord Jesus bless us all!

Update 6/26/25:

Berkat Ambon volunteers visited again and brought donations such as rice and other necessities for Putry Rikumahu, aged 10. A few years ago, Putry had an accident when she followed her mother to the farm and fell, breaking her left leg. Due to the family’s financial difficulties, she only received basic traditional treatment. As a result, the broken bone became bent, making it difficult for her to walk.
At the end of last year, Berkat Ambon facilitated her medical examination at the hospital, and the doctors performed bone surgery to straighten her leg bone. Praise the Lord, her leg is now straight, and Putry can walk well again. Thank you to all the brothers and sisters who have helped those in need through Berkat Ambon. Update 7/2/25:

Today, Berkat Ambon volunteers once again accompanied and gave a donation to Putri Rukumahu, who is currently 10 years old, for her follow-up appointment with the orthopedic surgeon at the hospital. When Putri was 3 years old, she followed her mother to the garden and fell, causing her right leg to break. Due to the family’s financial limitations, it was only treated traditionally by a local bonesetter, which resulted in her leg bone growing crooked.
At the end of last year, Berkat Ambon facilitated a consultation with an orthopedic doctor and she underwent bone surgery to straighten her crooked leg. Praise God, now Putri is still walking using a crutch, but her condition is much better than before. She needs to visit the hospital for check-ups once a month until she fully recovers.
Update 8/11/25:

This August, Relawan Berkat Ambon (Berkat Ambon Volunteers) accompanied and provided donations for Putri Rukumahu, who returned for a follow-up consultation with an orthopedic surgeon at the hospital clinic. The doctor has decided to perform surgery on August 13th to insert a platinum plate in her leg bone. We kindly ask for your prayers, dear brothers and sisters, that the surgery will go smoothly and that Putri may recover fully and return to her normal activities. For those who feel moved to share love and support with Putri, you may contact Berkat Ambon through Messenger. May the Lord Jesus bless you!
Update 10/16/25:

Berkat Ambon Volunteers visited and brought donations of daily necessities for Putry Rikumahu. Putry is now 10 years old. When she was 3, she suffered a fracture in her left leg after falling while following her mother in the garden. Due to her family’s limited financial resources, they initially relied on traditional treatment, which caused her leg to heal crookedly.
Berkat Ambon facilitated medical treatment at a hospital, and Putry underwent bone surgery by a specialist doctor. Praise God — her leg is now recovering. She is able to attend school, although she still uses a walking stick for support. Let us pray that Putry will heal completely and enjoy her days normally.
