Volunteers from Berkat Ambon received information from the family and immediately visited to see firsthand the condition of Mrs. Meni Salamor, 34 years old, who is currently hospitalized due to bone cancer in her leg. The doctors have not yet been able to take further action, so she is currently receiving only basic care. The family’s financial situation is very limited, making it difficult for them to meet both medical and daily needs. Let us pray that God will provide for all their needs and that Mrs. Meni will receive the best possible care for a full and speedy recovery. For those who feel moved to help Mrs. Meni Salamor, you may contact Berkat Ambon through Messenger.
Update 11/28/25:

Berkat Ambon Volunteers visited Mrs. Meni Salamor again, a 34-year-old woman who recently underwent surgery to amputate her right leg due to a malignant tumor that had been growing for several years. Because of very limited financial means, she had only been receiving simple home care, which allowed the tumor to worsen, and doctors eventually had to amputate her leg.
The Berkat Ambon Volunteers brought donations such as rice and other necessities for Mrs. Meni, as she is unable to work to provide for herself. Let us pray that God will open the way to meet all her needs and that her leg will heal soon. For those whose hearts are moved to help Mrs. Meni, you may contact Berkat Ambon Messenger. May God bless us all.
Update 3/1/26:

The Berkat Ambon Volunteers were able to visit Mrs. Meni Salamor, bring donations to help meet her daily needs, and see her current condition, which appears much better than before. Last October, Mrs. Meni had to undergo an amputation of one of her legs performed by a medical team due to a malignant tumor that had developed in her leg. Praise God, the surgery went well, and her surgical wound has been healing well.
Let us pray that the Lord will help Mrs. Meni in all her daily needs.
