From the information received by Berkat Ambon, volunteers visited Kemal Marabote, who was born in Ambon on May 30, 2007, and has been diagnosed with a malignant tumor in his leg. Kemal lives in Gadihu Indah, with his mother, Teno Marabote (56 years old), a housewife.
After being examined, the doctor advised that Kemal needs to be taken out of Ambon as soon as possible for further treatment, because nothing more can be done in Ambon. Every night from 8 PM until dawn at 4 AM, Kemal keeps screaming in pain. It was only three months ago that Kemal began to feel the pain. We pray and ask for the mercy of the Lord Jesus so that Kemal can be healed from his illness. The prayers of many people will bring great change for Kemal.
Berkat Ambon has helped buy diapers, bone-strengthening milk, and eggs (as advised by the doctor for Kemal’s daily consumption). We express our gratitude to all brothers and sisters who continue to donate to support the ministry of Berkat Ambon.
Update 9/21/25:

Praise God, Kemal has now completed his leg amputation surgery in Makassar and has returned to Ambon. He is currently in the recovery process, and to help boost his stamina, Kemal wishes to have mung beans with palm sugar. Other needs include diapers, wet wipes, and dry tissues. Brothers and sisters who would like to share love with Kemal may contact Berkat Ambon Messenger.
Update 9/25/25:

Kemal, after undergoing surgery to amputate his leg due to a malignant tumor, now needs a crutch so that he can carry out daily activities. Brothers and sisters who would like to help Kemal with the purchase of one crutch can contact Berkat Ambon via Messenger.
Many thanks to the brothers and sisters who have already prayed for all the patients served by Berkat Ambon, so they can continue to experience progress in their treatment process. May Lord Jesus love and bless us all.
Update 9/26/25:

The longing of our brother, 18-year-old Kemal Marabote, to have a crutch has been fulfilled thanks to the care and support of our generous donors who donated the crutch. Last month, Kemal had to undergo a medical procedure to amputate his left leg due to a malignant tumor in his knee. Everything went well, and he is now in the healing process.
Let us pray that our brother Kemal may soon recover and return to school. For those who feel moved to help our brother Kemal, you can contact Berkat Ambon via Messenger. May God bless us all.
