Dina Syaranamual

After several months without contact, Berkat Ambon volunteers visited Mrs. Dina Syaranamual again, who came from Sorong for medical examinations in Ambon. According to the previous doctor’s diagnosis, Mrs. Dina is suffering from stage 3C cervical cancer. At present, Mrs. Dina’s husband is also in Ambon to accompany her. She has already gone to the hospital according to the referral for examination, but because there was no bleeding, the doctor advised her to return home. If she wishes to receive treatment in Ambon, BPJS cannot be used; it must be self-funded, with costs of approximately 60–80 million rupiah.

Due to financial limitations, Mrs. Dina is currently staying at home only. Berkat Ambon will accompany Mrs. Dina for a follow-up examination, as her leg is now very swollen as a result of her illness.
