The volunteers from Berkat Ambon were contacted by the family of Mr. Leo Lekatompessy, 77 years old, from Hatu. A few months ago, Mr. Leo suffered a stroke and was treated at the hospital. He initially improved, but for nearly a month now, his health condition has worsened. We visited to see his condition firsthand. Along with his family, we are united in prayer, asking the Lord to do what is best for Mr. Leo. We also request the support of prayers from everyone for Mr. Leo’s recovery. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective, for with God, nothing is impossible.
Update 8/28/24:
Praise God! The Berkat Ambon volunteers were able to visit Mr. Leo Lekatompessy. We prayed together with his wife and children for Mr. Leo’s recovery. We also brought some supplies for his needs. All of this has been made possible by God's grace and the assistance of all our brothers and sisters.
Mr. Leo is still weak and bedridden but can respond to his children’s questions with weak hand signals. We kindly ask for continued prayers from everyone for Mr. Leo’s healing and recovery. If you wish to support our ministry, you can contact us via Messenger at Berkat Ambon. May the Lord Jesus bless us all! 🙏
Update 9/6/24:
Praise the Lord! Mr. Leo Lekatompessy's condition has improved after taking the Angong medicine. He requested this medicine based on a dream his wife had, in which Mr. Leo asked for this medication. The next morning, his wife shared this with their child, who then inquired about it with Mr. Leo, who signaled approval by raising his thumb. Mr. Leo still needs two more doses. If anyone wishes to assist in Mr. Leo's recovery, you can contact us via the Berkat Ambon messenger.
